WILSON - Funeral services for Anna Yvonne (Clark) Heath, 82, of Wilson are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Jim McGaughy officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson.

Anna was born July 11, 1933, at Wilson to the late Lesley Hugh Clark and Neva Lee (Garrett) Clark. She departed this life Thursday, March 17, 2016, at her home in Wilson.

Anna was raised south of Wilson near the community of Ghostholler, attending church at Rose Hill Baptist Church. She attended most of her school years at Wilson. Anna always enjoyed providing for those in need and was the dietary manager at the Wilson Nursing Center until her retirement. After retirement she volunteered at the Wilson Museum and also at the Museum in Ardmore. She always had a great passion for history and enjoyed helping others with genealogy. She also managed the seat of the Wilson Election Board in which she inherited from her father at his resignation.

Anna was a great blessing to whoever she came in contact with. She had many travels with her friends and family visiting many historical places around the globe. Anna touched many people with her kind and caring heart. She was a member of the D.A.R, Colonial Dames, Daughters of the Confederacy, Curator Docent and friend of the Wilson Historical Museum, President of the Genealogy Society and a member of the Greater Southwest Museum.

Preceding her in death was her parents; and brother, James Lesley Clark.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Heath and wife, Paula of Milburn, and Bradley Heath and Sandy of the home; sister, Juanita Wright of Bethesda, Md.; three grandchildren and 5 five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and other family.

Casket bearers are Frank Leptinsky, Chad Paschall, David Shastid, Ricky Copeland, Rick Burris and Dennis Hester.

Honorary bearers will be F.A. Copeland, George Pinches, and all of the friends and members of the Wilson Museum and Greater Southwest Museum of Ardmore.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
