Charles W. Heater, 66, of Lower Paxton Twp. died Thursday at home.
He retired as a chef from Harrisburg Hospital and earlier worked at the Dauphin County Home; was a retired Air Force technical sergeant and a veteran of the Vietnam War; and a member of Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church, Lower Paxton Twp., the American Academy of Chefs and the Chefs Association of Central Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ann Heater; two sons, Clifford C. of Mechanicsburg and Richard P. of Grantville; and two grandchildren.
