Her death was the result of a stroke of apoplexy suffered on Thursday night and she had been suffering from diabetes for the past year and a half.
Mrs. Heater was the daughter of the late Jonas Eck and wife, Carolina, nee Meinhard.
She was born in Longswamp township, Berks county, and was married first to Oliver Brown, who died fourteen years ago.
There survive her second husband, John H. Heater, and three children from her first marriage. Six brothers and three sisters also survive. There are five grandchildren.
Mrs. Heater was a member of trinity Lutheran church, Kutztown, and of the following organizations, Allentown chapter 39, ladies of the Mooseheart Legion; Shepherds of Bethlehem, Kutztown; Ladies of the Golden Eagle, Kutztown.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock with short services at the house followed by continued services in Trinity Lutheran church, Kutztown, Rev. Lynch officiating.
Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
