Died Saturday, Dec. 15, at 5:20 p.m. at her residence at Johnston Hall, LSU. Aged 86, native of Fai[r]burn, Ga., member of Stone Avenue Methodist Church, Monroe. Widow of the late Rev. J. C. Hearne. Funeral service to be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at the Rabenhorst Funeral Home with Rev. Ira Yeager and Rev. William E. Trice officiating. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Survived by four sons, Arthur B. and Morris B., Monroe; Dwight M. and Leroy Hearne, Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Griffith and Mrs. Ethel Burton of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Hazel Duck, Bunkie; three sisters, Mrs. John Head and Mrs. John Anders, both of Chatham; and Mrs. B. L. Jordan, Lafayette.
