Reverend Edward Healy was born July, 1840 in Ireland. He was ordained August 29, 1880 by Bishop John A. Watterson (of Columbus, OH) for the Diocese of Covington, KY. His first assignment was as assistant pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Newport, KY. After being elevated to senior pastor, Rev. Healy pastored the following parishes:
St. Mark, Richmond: 1886-1887
St. Joseph, Winchester: 1887-1892
St. Patrick, Mt. Sterling: 1892-1899
St. John, Georgetown: 1899-1907
Rev. Healy died April 13, 1907 in Georgetown, KY. He is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Lexington, KY.
