Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Sue Bandy, age 70, of Lincoln, Ala., will be Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 11 a.m. from the Pattons Chapel Church in Lincoln with the Rev. Allen Layton officiating. Burial will follow from the Plum Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 this evening. Mrs. Bandy will lie in state at the church for one hour before the services. Mrs. Bandy passed away July 19, 2006 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.

Survivors are: three daughters, Deborah Bandy, of Lincoln, Ala., Donna Gunnells and her husband, Jerry, of Pell City, Ala., Diane Reaves and her husband, Tommy, of Ohatchee, Ala.; one son, Danny Bandy and his wife, Felicia of Marbury, Ala.; three brothers, Jim and Carl Haynes, both of Talladega, Ala., and Linley Haynes, of Bynum, Ala. There are 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bandy is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bandy. Active pallbearers are: Joshua Reaves, Brandon Gunnells, Jimmy Brasher, Paul Brewer, Bruce Brewer, Jimmy Harris, and Randy Ogle.

Mr. Bandy was a native of Talladega County, Ala. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
