Edward Joseph Hayes was born to George E. Hayes Sr. and Mary Hayes (nee Byrne). He attended Our Lady, Help of Christians grade school and grew up on Chicago's west side. He spent the majority of his working life with Illinois Bell.
Ed always loved a good party and was an expert at having a good time. He passed away on November 29th, 1993 after a long illness.
