George was part of the Chicago Teamster's union and was a truck driver for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed animals and fishing. He also appreciated cars and firearms. George suffered from heart ailments throughout the past few years of his life. He passed away suddenly on June 18th, 1975. His funeral procession was led from Our Lady, Help of Christians Church in Chicago to Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
