She retired from the accounting department at Louisville Gas & Electric where she worked for 20 years, she also worked in her father's store, Hauss's Market in the west end, and was a member of First Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Algeon L. Clark. A loving mother and grandmother, she leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Linda Jo Farmer; a grandson, Matthew Scott Farmer; a sister, Mildred Anglin; a brother Henry Hauss, Jr.; and friends Terry Darnell and Bill Warren.
A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at noon on Thursday with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
