EDWARDSBURG - Jane Marie (Haukaas) Black, 59 years old of Edwardsburg, passed to her rest on Sept. 20, 2015, in Ann Arbor. She was born July 5, 1956, in Elkhart, to Warren and Joyce Haukaas. Surviving are her daughter, Misty (Karl Gartland) Rupchock of Cassopolis; and two grandchildren, Isabella and Mark; her ex-husband, Rick Black; and her sister, Vicky (Larry Morse) Haukaas. Family who have passed are her parents and a brother, Rick Haukaas. Family and friends may gather on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, from 2:00 - 3:30 PM at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 West Main, Edwardsburg, where a Service of Remembrance will begin at 3:30 PM. Cremation will follow and after the service a gathering will take place at the Edwardsburg American Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations made either to the family or to the funeral home will be appreciated to help pay for the funeral expenses. Arrangements are by the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home.
