Dixie Rae Hatch Anderson, our beloved mother, 75, passed away at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake City, surrounded by her loved ones, on July 16, 2008 after a long five year battle with a Brain Tumor.
She was born in Los Angeles, California on April 9, 1933 to Theris and Velda Hatch. She graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our loving, kind, considerate and remarkable mother, and daughter of our Heavenly Father, was endowed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She is survived by her three children, all of Salt Lake City; Don Henriksen, Suzi Bradley and Perry Henriksen; five siblings, Kay Neil (Alpine, UT), Theris Daryl (St. George, UT), Donald Terry (California), John Stanton (Alpine, UT), Patty (Hatch) Bevilacqua (Logan, UT); also two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her greatest love was her children. She will always be remembered for her devotion to them, and for her quick wit, her many talents, and her consistent optimism and faith to the very end. She enjoyed crocheting and needlework, but most of all she loved serving and helping others especially her children, who were her whole life.
