John Coy Harvill, 75, of Martins Manor Nursing Home in Havana, formerly of Springfield, died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Mason District Hospital in Havana.
He was born in Prentice, the son of Oliver Perry and Dora Mae McCawley Harvill.
Mr. Harvill had been a resident of Havana for the last 10 years.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Virginia Drew of Carlinville; one brother, Robert L. Harvill of Aurora, Colo.; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
