Emilie Harvey Bryant, widow of A.B. Bryant Jr., died peacefully at her home in Severna Park, MD on January 18, 2008.

Originally from Darlington Heights, VA, she was born April 23, 1916 to Chapman I. Harvey and Mattie B. Harvey.

In addition to her parents, her sister, Terrell H. Dunnavant and two brothers, William R. Harvey and Ryland B. Harvey, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Harvey Bryant of Severna Park, MD, Andrew Bryant and wife, Margaret of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Beth Bryant and Drew Bryant of Phoenix, AZ; her twin sister, Ida Harvey and sister, Mae H. Blank.

Funeral services were held at 1pm Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Darlington Heights with interment following in the church cemetery.

Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, VA, served the family.
