John Allison Harvey, 95, Columbia, S.C., passed away peacefully on Monday at Agape Hospice House.
John was born in Fairchance, Pa., son of the late John and Susan Harvey.
Mr. Harvey is survived by one son, Dr. John D. Harvey and wife, Anita, of Columbia, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Belva Pearce and husband, John; a nephew, Kevin Pearce; and a niece, Denise Cooper, all of Johnstown.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Dyer Harvey; and sisters: Ethel, Annie, Mary and Edna.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in the Library at Agape Senior Harbison, 990 Columbia Ave., Irmo, S.C. Entombment will be in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Altoona, on May 31, 2012.
