Dulcie A. Van Dycke, 80, of Washington Street, St. Johnsville, NY passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at. St. Luke's Medical Center, New Hartford, NY.
She was born December 31, 1933 in Broadalbin, NY the daughter of the late Hugh and Verna (Reid) Hart and was educated in Arizona.
Her marriage to Howard M. Van Dycke took place on August 25, 1953 in Broadalbin, NY.
Dulcie worked at several factories throughout the area.
She was a member of the Fort Plain Reformed Church and its choir. She was also an active member of the Auskerada Maquaes Rock City Chapter # 204, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Howard M. Van Dycke; her cherished children, Howard M. Van Dycke, Jr. of Johnstown, Verna (Larry C.) Allen of Oppenheim, Edward (Linda) Van Dycke of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Elizabeth (Henry) Mangold of St. Johnsville, Sarah (Paul) Van Avery of Fort Plain, and Jennifer (Brian) Pollard of Fort Plain; a brother, Sydney (Charlotte) Hart of Mayfield; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Herman and Millenette Herringshaw of Stratford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by three daughters, infant Helen Margaret Van Dycke, Dolores Van Dycke and Carol Dillenbeck.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 20, 2014 at 10:00 am from the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY 568-7040, with Reverend Nancy Ryan pastor of the Fort Plain Reformed Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Union Mills Cemetery, Broadalbin, NY.
