MRS. FRED S. BROWN
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brown, 74, wife of Fred S. Brown of Ottumwa, died Tuesday at 1:30pm at the home of her son, Ira Brown, at Fort Lupton, Colorado.
The daughter of Isaac and Charlotte Hart, she was born in Floris August 24, 1873. She had been a resident of this community all her life until three weeks ago when she moved to Colorado to live make her home with her son. While a resident of Ottumwa she was a member of the West End Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Fred S Brown of Ottumwa; two sons, Ira of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, and Elroy Brown of Ottumwa; and one brother, Joe Hart of Lincoln, Nebraska. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and a daughter in infancy. The body will arrive in Ottumwa Saturday morning and will be taken to the Johnson Funeral Chapel where arrangements will be completed.
