Bonny Harris Ayers, 87, Kansas City, KS, died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at her home. Services 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 30, at Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. Burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family suggests memorial's to First Southern Baptist Church. Bonny was born February 26, 1927, in K.C.K. and was a lifetime resident. She had worked for IBM, the I.R.S. and Renzenberger retiring in 2009. Bonny was a member of First Southern Baptist and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and William Harris, brother, Bill, sister Elaine Vose, her husband, Eugene, a son D. Craig and daughter-in-law, Donna. Survivors are a daughter and her husband, Melanie and Jim Good, daughter-in-law, Claudia Ayers, 3 grandsons, Alex, Brian and Dale and the Harris Clan from Pomeroy.
