Sarah Odell "Medea" Harrol-Evans was born on August 23, 1921 in Lillie, Louisiana, the daughter John and Alma Noble Harrell.
She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Fellowship Baptist Church, Lillie, LA.
She attended Rosenwald High School, Lillie, LA.
She was employed with the El Dorado School District for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Robert Evans; two daughters, Nickie and Vickie Harrol one brother, John Alma Harrol and a sister Reccee Harrol.
She is survived by Zane Harrol and Tommy Lee both of El Dorado, AR, John Evans and Stacy Evans both of Junction City, AR, Nickie Watson of Spearsville, LA, Nakeisha Evans of Bernice, LA, Jonavan Evans of Ruston, LA, Sharnell Evans of El Dorado, AR, Thomas Evans of Tennessee, A'Martinez Harrol and Kevin Lee of Junction City, AR.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 12, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Homegoing services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Junction City, AR at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Antwoine Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery, Junction City, LA under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staf
