Frances Ellen Harr, 71, of North Vernon, died at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, James Harr; a son, Christopher (Angie) Harr of Bloomington; a daughter, Leslie Bohall of North Vernon; two sisters, Mary Ann (Shokri) Radpour of Noblesville and Lois (Jerry) Beguhn of New Castle; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.

Frances Ellen Harr, 71, of North Vernon, passed away at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m until time of service Saturday at the funeral home..

Frances Ellen Harr, 71, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at 12:55 a.m. on Wednesday, October 02, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana.

Mrs. Harr was born on April 8, 1942 in North Vernon, Indiana the daughter of Leslie and Mary Dixon Smith. She married James Harr on December 21, 1963 at the Tea Creek Baptist Church in Lovett, Indiana; he survives.

Mrs. Harr worked as a teacher's assistant for Jennings County School retiring in 1995 after 10 years; she had previously worked as a library assistant for the former North Vernon High School and had also worked for the former Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville, Indiana. She was a 1960 graduate of North Vernon High School. She was a former member of Psi Iota Xi. She enjoyed family time and working Sudoku puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, James Harr of North Vernon, Indiana; her son, Christopher (Angie) Harr of Bloomington, Indiana and her daughter Leslie Bohall of North Vernon, Indiana; two sisters, Mary Ann (Shokri) Radpour of Noblesville, Indiana and Lois (Jerry) Beguhn of New Castle, Indiana; two grandchildren, Max Tukey and Summer Tukey both of North Vernon, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon, Indiana.

Memorials may be made through the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services to the American Cancer Society.
