Clarence Harney , age 54, well-known farmer of Jackson Township, died at his home one mile northeast of Mansfield, Monday (July 6) morning after a brief illness of complications. Mr. Harney had not been well for a period of months but became serious only last Wednesday. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Nell Martin Harney; four sons, Fay, Forrest, Paul and Vance Harney, all at home; one daughter, Kathleen Harney, at home; one sister, Mrs. R. E. Smith, of Rockville and two brothers, Cecil Harney of New Goshen and Ray Harney, of near Rockville. Funeral services were held this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Methodist Church at Mansfield. Burial was in the Moore Cemetery east of Mansfield. - Rockville Tribune, July 8, 1936
