Betty V. Harner, 92 of Gettysburg, PA died Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born in Gettysburg on September 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James F. & Margaret A. (Miller) Riley. Betty leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Burnell F. Harner.
Betty had worked for many years for the former Sylvia Garment Co. in Littlestown, PA as a seamstress.
In addition to her husband, she was survived by two sisters; Anna Riley and Jane Green and a brother, Robert S. Riley, all of Gettysburg, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by two brothers; Edgar Riley and John F. Riley.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg
