Mrs. Martha Gatlin, 60, died yesterday at 5:00 at the family residence in Sour Lake. The body was brought to Beaumont and prepared for burial by Broussard, Little, and Co. and was sent to Devers yesterday afternoon for interment. Funeral today.
Survivors: husband, A. C. Gatlin and five children.
Mrs. Gatlin lived in Sour Lake only two weeks. Mr. Gatlin was formerly a farmer and the family lived near Devers. Mr. Gatlin went to Sour Lake and took a job in the oil fields two weeks ago.
