Bonnie Opal Brannon the daughter of Carroll Ray and Viola Belle Selby Hargett was born in Quitman, Arkansas on October 23, 1913 and passed away in Searcy, Arkansas on August 31, 2007 at the age of 93 years.

Mrs. Brannon was a retired employee of General Motors in Flint, Michigan, She was a member of the Quitman United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She had lived her early life in Quitman, then moved to Swartz Creek, Michigan for 40 years and returned to Quitman in 1996.

Mrs. Brannon was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Bailey Owen and Winfred Brannon, a brother Hyson Hargett, a sister Weycie Wood, A sister Christine Morris, brothers Clifford Hargett, Harold Hargett, Odell Hargett and Charles Lee Hargett.

She is survived by two sons Johnnie Leon Owen of Quitman and Raymond Dean Brannon of Flint, Michigan, a brother Maxwell Hargett of North Little Rock and a sister Betty Sue Pafford of Odisville, Michigan. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren Gary Owen And Dwayne Owen, 3 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 step Great grandchildren besides other relatives and many friends. Funeral

Services will be Wednesday, September 5, 2:00 PM Olmstead Chapel with Interment in Quitman Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eldon Tackett, Raymond Tackett, Gerald Holland, Ray Houston, Cliff Hargett and Nick Hargett, Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Rains and David Hargett.
