Mrs. Henry Beach Succumbs Monday
Funeral Services Held at Rich Mountain Baptist Church Wednesday Afternoon, Survived by Husband and 12 children.
Mrs. Henry Beach, 44, a resident of the Rich Mountain community dies at her home Monday night, following an illness of several days. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday from the nearby Baptist Church. Reverend Roe Payne, pastor, being in charge and burial took place in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Beach was a daughter of the late Jack Hardy and was reared in the community where death claimed her. She was a member of the Baptist Church, possessed a kind and neighborly disposition and was well liked by those who knew her.
Surviving are the husband and twelve children, one an infant ten days old; two brothers, Luther of Howards Creek and Hurbert of Michigan: a half-brother, Floyd Tate, of Boone, two sisters, Mrs. Jack Norris of Boone, and Mrs. Mae Benfield of Detroit, Michigan.
