Annapolis Royal was shocked Thursday morning upon learning of the death of Mrs WW Clark. The decision had been made that possibly an operation for appendicitis might save her life, and her doctor took her to Halifax by train. However she died on the train between Kentville and Wolfville. The deceased was a daughter of Mr and Mrs RW Hardwick of Annapolis and being of a very bright and generous disposition and active in business life, she was well and favorably known by many both in this community and the surrounding country who will keenly regret her untimely death. She leaves her husband; 2 children; her parents and several brothers and sisters.
