Diana J. Harden, age 44, of Columbus, died Tuesday evening, May 21 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born November 19, 1968 in Martinsville, she was the daughter of E. Leon and Sharon (Ailes) Harden. She was a 1986 graduate of Brown County High School and worked for the Mentor Network as an in-home care giver for the mentally disabled. She had been involved with the Bartholomew County 4-H, the American Heritage Girls and with the Columbus area Home School Educators.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon Harden, of Columbus; her son, Dennis Harden, of Indianapolis, Indiana; her daughter, Delaney Harden, at home; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Connie Harden, of Bloomington; one niece and nephew-in-law, Amanda and Charles Pressel; two nephews and and one niece-in-law, Joshua Harden, Tyler and Kirsten Harden and one great-niece, Khloe Harden. She was preceded in death by her father.

There will be a memorial service held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 1 at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Dean Mathis officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12 Noon until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the family for Delaney Harden College Fund.
