She married Raymond T. Batty on June 7, 1957 in Greenville, SC. He survives. Her children include Raymond Jr. of Cookeville, Tenn., Gregory Batty of Chatham, Mass., Cheryl Ryan and Tina Parrott, both of Arthur, Ill., and Susan Batty, at home.
Mrs. Batty was a registered nurse, a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Arcola and the Society of Gastrointestinal Assistants.
She died at the age of 45 in St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur.
