Esther Isabelle (Hanson) Bachleitner, age 92, of Perham, MN, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home, Perham, MN.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2007, beginning at 11:00 am at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Perham, with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 29, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.
Esther was born August 23, 1914, the daughter of Oscar and Bertha (Foerstner) Hanson. She was married to Steve Bachleitner on July 26, 1940 in Perham. Steve passed away in July 1988. Esther retired from Land O' Lakes and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Mission Circle, and Christian Mothers.
Esther is survived by her two wonderful sons, Robert Bachleitner and Steven Bachleitner, both of Minneapolis, MN; three nieces, Gerri Ann Neyman, Danbury, CT; Cookie Bergen, Detroit Lakes, MN; and Judy Gabrielson, Litchfield, MN; one nephew, Robert Coates; one sister-in-law, Maxine Hanson, Calgary, Canada; many great nieces and nephews; cousins, friends, and neighbors.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve; a sister, Florence; two brothers, Elmer and Fritz; and a sister-in-law.
