SANTA FE, N.M. - Shirley H. Hall, 83, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are by McGee Memorial Chapel Mortuary & Crematory.
Mrs. Hall was born in Tucumcari on May 2, 1921. She attended the University of California and the University of Texas, graduating in 1944. She married Frederick R. Hall Sr., an airline pilot, in 1945 and after moving to Dallas and Long Beach, settled in Amarillo. She was an executive director with the Girl Scouts of America, former president of the Amarillo Art Museum and board member of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Frederick C. Hannahs; her mother, Bernice Hamilton Hannahs; and her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Frederick Hall Jr. and J. Scott Hall, and their wives, Frankie Hall and Chris Hall; two granddaughters, Ann Kelly Hall and Andie Hall; and a brother, Frederick C. Hannahs Jr.
The family suggests memorials be to the Museum of New Mexico Foundation in Santa Fe or to the Alzheimer's Association.
