Accidental Death.
HOPKINSVILLE, Jan. 25. -- Sergeant Lowery E. Hankins, 33, veteran of the Pershing Mexican expedition and world war, was found dead of a gunshot wound on the farm of Robert Huston, three miles from here.
A coroner's jury returned a verdict of accidental death. the Gun was caught in a barbed wire fence. The jury heard that the accident occurred when Hankins tried to climb the fence with the gun in his hand. Hankins served with the expedition that pursued Pancho Villa and later volunteered for the American expedition force and fought in France. He is Survived by his wife and two daughters.
