Mrs. William Allen
After a lingering illness from stomach trouble, Mrs. William Allen, wife of Clyde's well known hack driver, died at her home on Maple street Friday, April 2.
Sarah Hand was born in Seneca County, O., at the place now called Republic, on Feb. 15, 1843. On Nov. 28, 1871, she was married to William Allen, who with three children, survive her.
The children are Charles and George Allen and Mrs. John Maas, of Massillon. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. F. Jones and Mrs. L. Baird, and two brothers, John and Edward Hand.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. C. T. Fredenburg. Interment in McPherson cemetery.
