Missouri Death Certificate #16023:

Catharine was b. Aug. 3, 1854 in Dent Co., MO to Joseph & Mariam Hancock. She had been ill with cholera for about 11 days before she died on April 22, 1912. She was aged 57yr 8 mo 19 days. George Click, her husband, was the informant of her personal information. He survived her by 6 years. The couple lived at Hiram, MO at the time of her passing.

I believe Catherine & her husband George are resting in unmarked graves in the older section of this cemetery. No doubt they had modest markers but time ravaged them away. I learned of their names when they were entered into the cemetery registy. I searched every step of this peaceful resting place but to date have not located them. I was thrilled to find her Missouri death certificate validated my information.

Thanks to Karen Craig, gr grdaughter of J.N. & Ella (Cook) Hancock, confirmed what I'd always suspected. Catherine was Joseph Newton Hancock's sister. She was born in Dent Co., MO.

Catherine had a sister - Lilla Ann - who married Catherine's husband's brother Peter Click.
