MONTICELLO — Orpha Han, 77, Port Huron, Mich., died at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Mercy Hospital, Port Huron, Mich. She had been in ill health for several days.

She was born Jan. 20, 1906, in White County, to Robert and Twinkle Kellogg Han.

She lived in Monticello before moving to Port Huron, Mich., 25 years ago. She worked in the White County Agricultural Office for several years, and was a passenger agent for New York Central Railroad for 17 years.

She then was tour director for WLS Radio, Prairie Farmer Addition, for 11 years. She was national field director for North America Benefit Association from 1957 to 1981, when she retired. She was a member of the board of directors for North America Benefit Association, Review Number 1.

Surviving is a brother, Robert Han, Austin, Texas.

One brother, Virgil Han, preceded her in death.

Services will be 1 p.m Sunday at Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Weckerly officating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

funeral home.
