WINGER, PHYLLIS ANN(nee Hamelmann), age 68, died peacefully on July 13, 2000; beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend; born February 15, 1932, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Filmore R. Hamelmann and the late Ida Marie Morganti Hamelmann; in addition to her father and a sister, Shirley Berg of Groveland, Florida, she is survived by her husband, Robert E. Winger; her children, and her beloved grandchildren.
A graduate of East St. Louis High School and the Christian Welfare Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse for 28 years at the Overland Medical Center. As an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church for over 45 years, she held numerous church offices and coordinated Trinity's emergency food pantry efforts for many years.
Service at the new ORTMANN-STIPANOVICH
Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Mon., July 17, 10 a.m. Interment Bellerive Cemetery. Visitation from 2-6 p.m., Sun.
