Mrs. Sherry Diane Hamby Archer, age 65 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday, March 4, 2016.
Mrs. Archer was born in Greenville, South Carolina on October 29, 1950, the daughter of the late James Benjamin Hamby and Dora Beatrice Scott Hamby. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Steve Archer; children, Michelle Archer, Patricia Archer, Cynthia Archer, Michael Archer and Candace Archer all of Carrollton; grandchildren, Brittanie Hardeman Marks, Destanie Hardeman, Jacob Phelps, Cain Archer, Cobie Chandler, Hallie Lewis, Savanna Chandler, Kaleb Archer, Cameron Chandler, Aubree Archer, and Addie Laine Meeks; great-grandchildren, Bentley Hardeman and Kayden Holshouser; siblings, Betty Hamby Frisby, Mary Hamby Ashcraft and Larry Earle Hamby and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Frisby, Elaine Jenkins, Brenda Hamby; brother, David Hamby; nephew, Tommy Jenkins and niece, Linda Frisby.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Jenkins, Kenny Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Scott Frisby, Joey Gudaitis, David Gudaitis, Jake Richardson and Robbie Archer. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Robinson and Jordan Jenkins.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Allen officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park, GA.
