MOTHER, DAUGHTER DIE SUNDAY A.M. - - - A mother and daughter died within about three hours of each other yesterday morning---one in McComb, Miss., the other in a new Orleans hospital. Mrs. J. W. Kelly, 41, of Hooper road died at 8 a.m. Sunday in a New Orleans hospital after an extended illness. Her mother, Mrs. Nettie H. Bookter, died at 11:20 a.m. Sunday in McComb, Miss. Funeral services for both will be held at the Denham Springs, Baptist church at 2 p.m. today with the Rev. M. Hopper officiating. Interment for Mrs. Kelly will be in the Zoar cemetery, for Mrs. Bookter in the Denham Springs cemetery. The body of Mrs Kelly will remain at the Rabenhorst Funeral home until 1:15 p.m. today; then will be taken to Denham Springs. Mrs. Kelly is survived by her husband; her father, J. M. Bookter of Baton Rouge, and three sons, Raymond Lloyd, J. W. Jr. , and Glen Frederick of Baton Rouge. Mrs. Kelly is also survived by the following sisters and brothers, and Mrs. Bookter by the following daughters and sons; Mrs. John B. Simmons of Franklinton, Mrs. C. E. Price of El Dorado, Ark., Mrs. R. E. Barnett of Denham Springs, Mrs. Harry E. Cier of Baytown, Tex., the Rev. F. B. Bookter of McComb, John A. Bookter of Columbia, S. C., and the Rev. J. J. Bookter of Pitkin.
