David Joseph Hall, 89, Klamath Falls, died Sunday, March 5, 1995, in Klamath Falls.

Mr. Hall was born in Washington to James and Agnes Hall.

While he was still a young boy, his father died and he was sent to the Indian school in Desmet, Idaho.

After completing his schooling, he worked for numerous lumber mills throughout Oregon for the next few years, finally settling in Klamath Falls in 1929.

He was married to Nina Briggs in October 1931.

They remained in Klamath Falls and Mr. Hall worked for several local lumber mills, including Algoma Lumber and Walker & Hubby, before retiring in 1970.

After his retirement, he started a welding business in his garage on Hilyard Avenue, which he operated until 1980.

He was a charter member of Ponderosa Masons Lodge and a member of Crater Lake Masons Lodge, Scottish rite and the Shriners.

Mr. Hall loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Nina, Klamath Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Wood, Walla Walla, Wash.; sister, Marguarite Lentz, Omak, Wash.; granddaughters, Christy Wood, Klamath Falls, Gini Wood, Washington D.C.; numerous nieces and nephews.
