Judy: I cannot be 100% sure, but I believe this baby belonged to James Eslie Hall #28543801 and his first wife, Elvina Elsie Eastman Hall #88174524. She died in 1927 and so did the baby. The second wife, Vina Sarah Hall #7924588 was my aunt. After Elvina's death, Uncle Eslie (james Eslie) advertised for a live in lady to care for the other children. My aunt applied and was hired; with the stipulation that she could bring a girlfriend as it wasn't considered "proper" for a single lady to be a live in with no other females in the house. She didn't know what she might be getting into. Vina and James Eslie Hall fell in love and were married. James's daughter is still living. Several years ago I asked if this baby might be her younger brother, but she didn't know. The baby's name was Melvin Dean #88174678. I started to link him, but thought I should contact you with an explanation. I don't know if this baby's grave is near Elvina Hall's grave, but if so that would be a plus and help verify that this baby belongs to her.
