Graveside services for Ralph Benton Hall, 70, who died Thursday at Northeast
Medical Center in Bonham, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. and will be conducted by
the Rev. Jerry Clements under the direction of Cooper-Sorrels Funeral Home in
Bonham, and burial will be at Bettis at the Ivanhoe Cemetery. Visitation will
be today from 5-6 at Cooper-Sorrels Funeral Home in Bonham.
Mr. Hall was born in Healdton, Oklahoma on January 6, 1921 to James and Linnie
Clark Hall. He married Lois Riding on June 12, 1950 in Fannin County. Mr. Hall
was employed with Sam Rayburn Memorial V. A. Center and was a housekeeper. He
served in World War II in the Air Force with the 449th Bomber Squadron in North
Africa and Italy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church since 1955.
Mr. Hall is survived by: his wife, daughter Sonja Sneed of Bonham; sons, Eric
Hall of Bonham and Shawn Hall of Bonham; grandson, Jory Nichols of Elwood
community; sisters, Sue Boney of Nacodoches, Hazel Cribbs of Witchita, Kansas
and Virginia Fressler of Fairbanks, Alaska; brothers, Kenneth Hall of Bonham and
Clyde Hall of Garland.
