Birdie was born the fourth child to Allen & Ella Hamett Hall in Hope Hempstead Co. AR.

Birdie Hall & Thurman Baty were married Nov.15,1914 in Paris Lamar Co. TX. They had two daughters: Lorene Baty Long & Berta Louise Baty Tyler.

Honey Grove- Mrs Thurman Baty, 70, died at home here Saturday at 10:10a.m. after eight months illness.
Last rites will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Cooper-Sorrells chapel by the Rev.J.W. Hopkins, pastor of the Assembly of God Church where Mrs. Baty was a member, and the Rev. A.M. Davenport, Methodist pastor.
Interment is arranged in Oakwood Cemetery, bearers to be J.R. Dawson, Marlow Williams, Raymond Johnson, Harding Sisco, Rayford Stroud and J.S. Calloway.
The former Birdie Lee Hall, daughter of Allen and Ella (Hammett) Hall, Mrs Baty was born in Arkansas June 24,1894.
She and Mr Baty were married Nov.15,1914, and he survives, besides two daughters Mrs. Eldon Long and Mrs T.B. Tyler both of Honey Grove; eight other descendants; a brother Will Hall of Paris, and two sisters Mrs. Frank Miller and Mrs. Clyde Brown both of Borger.
