She married Lonnie Jerry Bonds. He preceded her in death in December, 1998.
Mrs. Bonds worked in the packing department for Lane Bryant in Indianapolis, Indiana for five years and had previously worked in Food Service for the Dobbs House in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Lighthouse Church and attended Harry E. Woods High School both in Indianapolis, Indiana. She enjoyed playing cards, working puzzle books and collecting Avon.
She is survived by three sons, William (Darlene) Erwin, Mark Erwin and Jerade Bonds all of North Vernon, Indiana; four daughters, Rhonda (Michael) Goldsberry and Tonya Shorney both of Camby, Indiana, Jerri Bonds and Jessie (Roy) Arney both of North Vernon, Indiana; one brother, Mervin (Denise) Haley of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters, Louise (Leroy) Driscoll and Donna Goode both of Indianapolis, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, Robert and Wayne Haley.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon, Indiana with Leroy Driscoll officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, Indiana.
