She was born on May 15, 1951 in Owensboro, KY, the daughter of the late Willis Allen Hale and Alma Brown Hale.
Lynne was a loving kind friend to all and impacted countless students in her teaching career. She was a retired school teacher and financial secretary for the Grayson County School System. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, UK and WKU basketball, and adventures with her Traveling Sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Blake and Brett Meredith both of Leitchfield, her brother, Larry Hale (Pat) of Owensboro, two granddaughters, Madison and Tionah.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Ernestine Hale and a half-sister, Deanne Flaherty.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (June 23, 2016) at the Owensboro Memorial Gardens, Hwy 144, Owensboro, KY. Rev. Christine Coy Fohr will be officiating.
