89, died on May 15 at the U.S. Veterans Community Living Center in Denver after a long illness. Born in Dines, Wyoming on August 15, 1923, Arthur served in WWII as a Tuskegee airman and flight instructor; his lengthy professional career was with Lockheed Martin as an aerospace engineer.
Survivors include his wife Lucille Lee Hale, sister Jane Hale Morgan, and daughters Roxanne Hale and Cheryl Diane Carter, namesake and grandson John Arthur Hale, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, longtime friends and co-workers. Arthur's memorial will be held Thursday, June 28, from 10-11 am, at the Zion Senior Center, 5110 E. 33rd Ave., Denver. A private interment with family will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
