Bleeker Mae Burgess, 66, 227 Burgess/Helms Road, Monroe, died Friday.
Surviving are her husband, Woodrow Burgess; three sons, Fred Burgess, Monroe, John Burgess, Waxhaw, James Burgess of New York; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Cauthen, Monroe, Mrs. Beatrice Laney,
Pageland, S.C., Mrs. Frances Robinson, Indian Trail; two brothers, Lester Haigler, Concord, Leonard B. Haigler, Mint Hill; six sisters, Mrs. Essie Pinyon and Mrs. Vedie Helms, both of Monroe, Mrs. Annie Bell Rushing, Mrs. Lela Threatt, and Mrs. Tirzia Rushing, all of Mint Hill and Mrs. Ethel Blackmon, Chadburn; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at McEwen Funeral Home. The Revs. Jack Watts and Jack Roberts will conduct the services. Burial will be at Lakeland Memorial Park.
