George Doyle Hagood (Daddy Buster), 88, died Aug. 23, 2011, in a Mineral Wells nursing home.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
He was born April 3, 1923, in Dumont, Texas, the son of Buford S. and Eula Mae Atkinson Hagood. He married Dorothy Mae Beiard on Feb. 2, 1946, in Weatherford, Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Georgia Carol Wright; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Sue Hagood; brother, Hugh Hagood; sister, Virginia Cook; grandchildren and spouses, Joe and Amber Hay, Richard and Cora Hay, Justin and Rikkie Jo Hagood; 11 great-grandchildren; and family dog, Rusty Girl.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two sisters; and son-in-law, Nathan Wright.
