Beerch Burton Feese Hadley, 94, Campbellsville, was born April 16, 1892, in Adair County and died March 27, 1987, at the Taylor County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John Edd and Milesa Burton. She united in marriage to J. L. Feese. To this union seven children were born: W. M. Feese, Callie Smith Davis, Lettie Ann Johnson, and Mattie Martin, all of Campbellsville, Rufus Clarence Feese, George Edward Feese and Bertha Lee Fesse preceded their mother in death. After the death of her husband on Oct. 12, 1926, Mrs. Feese married J. W. Hadley. To this union four children were born: Darlene Bolin, Fortville, Ind., James Hadley and Katherine Kilby, both of Campbellsville. Uriah Hadley preceded his mother in death. Her husband preceded her in death May 22, 1960. Other survivors include 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John Edd Burton Jr.; her step-mother, Bertha Burton; a sister-in-law, Gladys Burton. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gid Burton and Finis Burton, and three sisters, Lula Mae Redman, Leona Curry, and Anna Neat. She is also survived by several friends and was a member of the Campbellsville Brethren in Christ Church. The funeral was Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home, Columbia. The Rev. Luke Keefer, Sr. officiated. The Rev. Bluford Davis assisted. Burial was in the Bearwallow Cemetery. Pallbearers were the great-grandsons: Joey Smith, Steve Smith, Jeff Matthias, Jerry Quinn, Dean Quinn, Jeff Feese, Kevin Hamilton, and Mark Rice. ~Obituaries of Taylor County, Kentucky, Volume II, compiled by Eunice Montgomery Wright, p. 75
