Mildred Smith Haddock 81, Florence passed away Tuesday, Aug 8 2000 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Anexx.
Mrs. MIldred Smith Haddock was born Mt Hope, Al on April 21, 1919, to her parents Vevlin Jake and Minnie Lee Smith.
Mrs. Haddock was a faithful member of the Central Heights Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress. Mrs. Haddock was very active in the Central Community and helped her husband in the concession stand. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mrs. Haddock was preceded in death by her husband of 45 yrs. Clifford Ray Haddock, brother Alter Smith, and nephew Buddy Smith.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug 10, 2000, from 6-8 pm the service will be Friday, Aug 11, 2000, at 10 am at Elkins Funeral Home Chapel, Florence with Mike Colston officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. haddock is survived by her sons, Ray and wife Gean, Florence, Ronnie, and wife Marilyn Florence, sisters Nadien Simpson and husband William Moulton AL, Ernestine Brown, Greenfield, IN, 4 grandchildren, Kevin Haddock and wife Glenna, Keith Haddock, and wife Candice, Amanda Haddock and Amy Haddock, one great-grandchild Mallory Haddock.
Pallbearers will include Mac Simpson, Ronnie Terry, Louie Smith III, Richard Smith, Lloyd Haddock, Jack Broadfoot, Willie Robb.
Honorary pallbearers will include Gerald Hester, Mike Brown, Layne Brown, David Brown, Robert Lee Haddock, Coye Haddock, Carol May, Jerry Brown.
