He later married a Catharina and had seven children: Michael, Henry, Jacob, Barbara, Elizabeth, Fredrick and George. He died on September 19, 1870 in Mannheim, Waterloo County in Ontario. So far we have been unable to locate where he is buried.
Per this same source, Elizabeth's mother was Catharina Donnenwerth (maiden name unknown) who was born on May 5, 1801 in Mulhausen in Alsace, France. Catharina died on May 2, 1872 in Mannheim, Waterloo County in Onatario. So far, we have been unable to locate her grave.
