She was the widow of Charles Barkman. She worked as a bookkeeper for Cudahy for several years and was also a tax preparer. She was a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church.
Survivors include: one son, Gary (Amy) Barkman, Danville; two grandchildren, Corrie Barkman and Charlene Satori. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 14, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Gary Allen officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carl VanArsdall, Charles Mangione, John Phillip Mangione, David Barkman, Eric Barkman and Brian Marlowe.
