Laura Herrington Gwynne was the first wife of John Ray Gwynne and mother of Arthur Cramer and Edna Mae. Newspaper obituary states she left three young children on her death- third child is unidentified, perhaps a misprint by the newspaper. Laura Gwynne's cause of death at the young age of 26 was typhoid fever - from notes of Jane Haldeman, "Personal Reflections of Hazel Gwynn Cluss" . She was born in 1865 at Garards Fort, a daughter of Gideon and Experience Stewart Harrington.
